I’m in my last year of a bachelor’s in English, and I’m going to spend 2024 in Japan as an exchange student. I’ve been teaching part-time for the past two years (at a middle school and the local equivalent of an Eikaiwa).
I wanted to ask how feasible it is to get a part-time job in Japan like I do here, especially considering that I’m non-native (though according to the FAQ it shouldn’t matter *as much* since I’d already have a valid visa).
Has anyone here done it/know someone who’s done that? Should I start putting out feelers now before the term starts, or apply directly when I’m in Japan?
