I visited Kyoto in April and found that one of my favorite things was just wandering around different streets and neighborhoods. I didn’t get the chance to see most of the city, but really enjoyed exploring some of the more residential Northeastern parts of Kyoto (where my Airbnb was located), especially the neighborhood around the Philosopher’s Path.
I’m planning a return trip so am super excited to explore areas I haven’t seen yet – I’m especially curious about seeing parts of town surrounding any rivers. Any input would be super appreciated – I’m interested to hear your thoughts!
