I was hoping that somebody could point me in the direction of any stores in Kyoto that specialize in antique clothing or textiles.
I use the word antique because I’m not interested in 1980s t-shirts or what most vintage stores would sell these days, but rather things like wwii and earlier military garments, early 1900s farming clothes, boro textiles etc.
I understand that things like this could be available at temple markets, but unfortunately, I’ll miss the markets at Tenmangu and Toji this month. So I’m hoping to find a store that specializes in these types of goods.
