Hi everyone, I’m an incoming male MBA student at Doshisha University and I’m looking for some advice on housing near the Imadegawa campus. The university dorms that fit my budget are Maison Iwakuni and Kamogawa Dorm. Both seem pretty affordable and conveniently close to the university. An added bonus is that the rent includes electricity, water, and gas fees.
However, I’ve heard mixed reviews about the condition of the university dorms and the quality of life there. Given this, I’m considering whether I should opt for private housing instead.
Does anyone have experience with the university dorms or can suggest good private dorms near the Imadegawa campus? My budget for rent is approximately under 50k JPY.
