Windsurfing in Okinawa

I'll be moving to Okinawa soon, and would appreciate if you could help answer these questions:

1. are there any places to windsurf (shortboard) in Okinawa, else where's the nearest place to do so?

2. when are the wind seasons, and what are the characteristics (gusty/dense wind.. how many knots?)

3. what is the current like? and is there anything dangerous to look out for (eg. low tides with rocks, jellyfish, etc.)
