Japanese Crowd Appreciation Thread

Just watched TJP and Taichi (awesome match) after a few months only watching US wrestling.

And what really strikes me is how good the crowd is. Those few hundred people in the hall were making more noise than most packed out arenas do. And there are no stupid 'this is awesome' chants, either; just 'ooohs' and 'aaaah's or screaming the wrestlers name. They're totally invested in what is happening before them; not waiting for an angle or a backflip to happen.

Kayfabe is alive there; and I don't really notice any obvious cooperation in Japanese wrestling, which is probably because the crowd is also channelling real emotion.

Anyone else agree?
