I need some advice on driving in Japan! I just realized that my Australia Driver license expires in October 2024. I’m given to understand that my IDP will only be valid as long as my home country license is still valid. If that’s the case my IDP will only be valid till October this year. Is it still worth getting an IDP now? Or shall I wait till October and renew my Australia driver license and obtain a IDP then? I would appreciate any advice on the best course of action.
