Hello, I am currently a student at a private specialised school studying a 1 year intensive Game Art WSQ Diploma course. I think my school is considered a vocational school, but I'm not sure since my country does not use the term "vocational school". I finished primary and secondary education, but I don't have a BA degree.
I want move to Japan once I graduate, and I have a question regarding the Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services visa. According to this Japanese website https://www.moj.go.jp/isa/applications/status/gijinkoku.html
Under number 8 (2), to obtain a COE, I can either submit proof of obtaining a BA degree, or certificate from my school stating that I have studied Game Art for a year. I don't have a degree, so I'm left with the latter.
Can I just submit a certificate from my school stating that I have studied Game Art for 1 year to obtain the visa? Is a BA degree really not required? I appreciate any advice!
Side note about my course: since it is a 1 year Singapore WSQ diploma course, the diploma I get when I graduate is different from the typical diploma that students get from studying 3 years at a government Polytechnic school. My course crams everything you would learn in 3 years, into 1 year, hence why it is so intensive.
