I'm moving to Tokyo on the J-Find visa for "job search activities" and I understand I'm allowed to work while on this visa while I search for a fulltime job at which point I'll switch to a sponsored work visa.
My question is, are there any limitations on what kind of work I can do or is it like a spouse visa in that any form of part or full time employment is allowed?
Mainly asking because I make some side income (around 1k a month) via YouTube + video editing for other online creators and I'm wondering if I'm allowed to continue this on my visa and then obviously report it on my Japanese tax return.
Also If I were to find a baito while in Japan are there any restrictions on that? I've heard some visas have restrictions on things like working in bars or night clubs as well?
Thanks if anyone knows or can point me in the right direction!
