Currently finishing my bachelor in international law in the Netherlands. I wanted to know if I have any chances to get a good job that doesn’t involve teaching English. My situation is the following:
-
international student in the Netherlands completing an International law degree.
-
not interested in becoming a lawyer so no international bengoshi path.
-
in terms of visa I wouldn’t need a sponsor since my partner is Japanese.
-
Open to pursue an LLM in Japan for good networking.
-
Interest in specializing in a certain field of law that involves either international finance, commerce, business, contracts, etc.
-
the type of job in looking for is either in consultancy or in house legal team.
-
Optimist that will achieve n1 before graduating.
-
Japanese would be my 4th language (English, Spanish and French)
I have the following questions for the people with experience in this field. In the long term:
-
Is it possible for me to get a good job with career progression and decent salary in Japan?
-
Is it realistic to aim to get an either hybrid or fully remote job in my areas of interests (working in Tokyo and reside in Kyoto?)
-
Should I get an LLM in Japan?
-
is working an 8 hours shift realistic?
Thanks in advance
