First Time Traveling to Okinawa

Hi everyone,

First time posting here but will be traveling to Okinawa sometime in November.

I had a couple of questions and hopefully some experienced travelers can give us an advice.

1. We’ll be flying through Narita. Will customs be done there or when we arrive in Okinawa? If in Narita, would a 4 hour layover be fine or should I find something a little longer?

2. I heard it’s best to rent a car. Any advice on where to book?
