Looking for ideas of things to do on Iriomote-jima in September. Staying at Hoshino Resorts (north side of the island). I'm into swimming, hiking/nature, kayaking, cycling, and fishing. Going with my gf who's less adventurous. We might rent a car for a day or two. We're coming from Hokkaido. Gf is Japanese; I speak conversational Japanese. How dangerous is it to hike or swim alone?
