Is Mitaka, Tokyo safe? Especially for women? I’ve seen that it is generally safe but you can never be too sure
Is Mitaka an expensive area to live in? Or are there any recommendations for commutable areas?
(Mitaka because that is the area that my university would be based in)
It would be mandatory for me to have health insurance, is healthcare expensive in Japan? Specifically Tokyo.
In the UK we have websites like Rightmove, Zoopla when looking for houses, apartments etc. what would be the best place to look for such in Tokyo?
Anyone that has went to Japan to study, is there anything else that I should consider or know?
Lastly, I have been learning Japanese for about 4 months now, I wouldn’t say I put in the most of effort, by the time I plan to move to Japan it would be a lot better, could I scrape by with minimum Japanese or should I start being more vigorous? 😃
