This is my last month on JET. I live and work in Miyagi, but my friend who has agreed be my tax representative lives in Tokyo. Do you need to file your pension refund request in your city? Or could I do that in Tokyo? I'll be staying with them for a few weeks after my contract ends, so it would be super convenient if they didn't have to come all the way to Miyagi to file the refund request.
