Hey guys. I was upgraded a few days ago. Uk Jet. Just wondering what my odds are of being in the same orientation/flight as the shortlisted candidates?
It's odd because I'm teaching in Vietnam and while I wanted to get shortlisted for JET I also wanted to do a summer camp (which started last Monday 24th June and ends on 26th July.) I am currently working in this summer camp. Would I be correct in thinking that had I immediately been accepted as a shortlisted candidate I wouldn't have been able to do the summer camp as I would've been required to return England sooner? It seems like being alternate was a blessing in disguise. I haven't got my placement yet as JET only acknowledged my acceptance to being upgraded today.
