Hello, I have been researching and trying to expand my network in Japan. I have been researching and joining groups on Linkedin and Meetup. But was curious if anyone here has experience the could share in regards to creating their network virtually or in person. My goal would be to find virtual events I could join tailored towards accounting (my field) that I could build when I am in the States.
I have already been in communication with some of the top firms for international placement such as Robert Walters. My City's Japanese outreach society is a little lackluster but I do join events there as well.
Edit: I am pretty good at conversational japanese. I have graduated to japanese people asking me " why can you speak japanese?" I never lived there.
