Hey everyone! I'm an incoming JET who will be in Tokyo and am super excited for it!
However I am nervous because with general living costs, and not having a job in advance of leaving, my savings are not looking very favourable for the move;;;;
I have tried to save where I can but admittedly I've ended up having to go into savings more than I had hoped, leaving me with less than I wanted.
Cause of this I was wondering if anyone knew of any financial support or other options available to help?
I've emailed both my CO and the JET help for my country but haven't heard back yet, and I also have opened a credit card to help me just in case.
But does anyone have any other advice??
