Umino doesn’t need to go heel, he just needs to be less of a face

Umino’s got great fire, great work, it’s just that the pure face thing might not be the best path. I think he could work it but that’s by the by. His best match of the tour was vs Kidd, where he worked face but in a way where he was hard hitting, angry and no nonsense. Might be a good idea to lean a bit more into that. That being said I don’t think he’s in as bad of a shape as everyone says. This time next year this worrying will be viewed as with similar absurdity to people worrying about ZSJ’s push when he won the TV belt back and lost it in his first defence or when Uemura did the same with the KOPW.

Mark my words: The Umino experience hasn’t been a failure yet, and won’t be in the long run.
