Commute options from Uruma to Onna?

Hello,
I just got a job at Onna, and my company is providing housing in Uruma. What are my commute options?

I’m planning to buy a 50cc moped. Would it be possible to commute with it?

Also, are the buses generally on time? Is it feasible to use them every day?
