How many of ya’ll stayed longer than expected?

I am new JET who's scheduled to depart in late July. At a recent Q&A, a lot of the former alumni said that they had intended on only staying for a year before staying for another 2-4. I'm just curious how common that is as someone who, as of right now, only intends on staying for 1 year.
