I am currently in the process of preparing my statement of purpose for the 2025 round of JET application to try and get things perfected (or at least as good as I possibly can) by the time applications open in September.
My question to any Aussie JETs is: what is the application process like with regard to SOPs? Do we print them out and include them in the bundle of paper that we send to the embassy in Canberra or is there an online application process? This is mainly coming from the side of SOP length as mine is currently 2 pages in double-spaced 11pt font but it's 840 words…I am just wondering if this is too much as I have seen JETs from countries with online applications saying only around 650 words.
I'm sorry if this question is answered elsewhere, I am just a bit of an overthinker about this detail as I don't want my SOP to be rejected because of length.
