Having visited Japan for several times the past 15 years, awakened the desire to move there permanently with my wife.
I currently do not speak Japanese, but planned to follow language courses on a university close to where I live to get ample experience.
Now, I am a Dutch citizen, with well over a decade of experience in UX Design. I have worked mainly in product companies (Tech, SaaS).
Now I wonder, is UX something that would be possible to find work for in Japan? Does anyone have experience with UXers in Japan?
One thing I am afraid of is the language however. Despite getting lessons, copywriting in UX is one of the main aspects and I wonder if I would ever get on an acceptable level of Japanese to utilize my skillset there.
