Hello. I am a non military 20 (F) looking to move to Okinawa in the coming years. I currently do not have anything other than a high school diploma, and a passport. I’m looking for tips on how to plan for my move to Okinawa, I know I’ll need my passport, a large sum of money saved up, and I’ll either have to become a student or find a job, and since I don’t have any basic knowledge on Japanese, I’ll have to learn. Other than that I have no clue what I’ll need or how to go about it.
I’m not looking to take much with me besides my dog and my wardrobe. I’m aware on their no rabies thing so I know my fur baby will need all her shots and proof she doesn’t have rabies, she is legally registered as my ESA if that benefits me any.
I’ll be moving there by myself so no dependents or anything. Any tips or even general advice would be appreciated.
