Both okinawa(ryukyu) and korea were annexed by Japan, but after annexation, most koreans oppose the annexation and there are many resistance movement in korea. But for okinawa, why there isn't much resistance against Japan's rule, and there is even a "return to japan" movement after ww2? why is that a difference?
