1. Hey there! 39 year old US applicant here. Just hoping someone can give me a second set of eyes that’s applied before, or has been through the program.

   It’s definitely not done, but I have the bones, and would like to see what you’d add/ remove, and just some honest thoughts.

11. Is it necessary to have paragraphs and indents in your SOP? I don’t want to cut more out but I’ll have to if I want to have paragraphs and make the page limit.

12. Would any current JETs be kind enough to help review my SOP? It’s an initial draft and I tried to include as many relevant points as possible. I am applying as an Indian citizen, but the application process doesn’t seem to be as different, so any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance.

16. Hello! Any current or former JETs open to reviewing my SOP? Even anyone who’s previously gotten an interview – I applied last year, but no interview. I’m happier with my SOP this year and would love to get some feedback from anyone who’s successfully passed the first round before!

17. I applied a couple years ago and didn’t get an interview, looking to try again, if anyone could check my SOP, I will really appreciate it. I’m still doing a newer SOP that i will finish tomorrow but i would like to get feedback on my first SOP from a few years back just to see if it can help with making changes to the new one.

Hello all, as I’m sure there have been many posts with the deadline up and coming, I was wondering if any successful or past JETs would be able to read my statement of purpose and let me know their thoughts. I think it is decently solid but I’m not sure if I need to cut back a bit on some things in order to focus more on my qualifications.
