Hi,
I just arrived in Osaka to work as a technical project manager for the Expo 2025 (I'm here for 6 months)
I’m looking for cool places to go out and meet people (I don’t speak Japanese yet :/ ). I need to see people other than my colleagues :')
Also : I’m 24, 🇫🇷, into electronic/rock music, hiking, board games, and having good conversations over a beer (But overall I like to go out and just do things)
If you have any recommendations (bars, events, clubs, café,…) I’d love to hear them !

There’s a board game bar (not limited to board games, though– they have everything) in Namba called The Hearth. Lots of foreigners hang out there and the bar staff speak English. Maybe a good place to start.
For board games, drinks and good conversation: https://www.thehearthosaka.com/
Try the [HUB Umeda Higashi St ](https://www.pub-hub.com/index.php/shop/detail/126) on a Friday night or Saturday night after 9PM. It’s kind of like Bar in the original Star Wars. i.e. you will see a forms of humanity here.
