For those of you in the Air Force at kadena afb How long are the pcs tours to Okinawa for accompanied and unaccompanied? Is it possible to have an unaccompanied tour length for 3 years? Do you get paid BAH for wherever your spouse is still living if it is unaccompanied? If I was to send for my spouse later how long is that process and how long until my spouse could come to Okinawa without me? Can you live off base if unaccompanied and how likely am I to live off base right when I get to Okinawa without my spouse or would I be stuck in the dorm for a while? If I was planning to bring my spouse later could I immediately get a place off base? Sorry all the questions I just want authentic answers from people who experienced it or know someone who has.
