Hey y'all,
I turned in my application for the JET Program on Nov. 15th and just received an email with an issue from JET regarding my Statement of Physician Form. I live in California, and my medical care is with Kaiser Permanente. They don't fill out external forms and said I had to use their form to explain my medical history (my anxiety and depression). I knew it would end up being a problem, but my physician would not sign the JET Programs' statement of physician form. So I turned in my application hoping they'd accept Kaiser's version.
Am I just fucked? Like, is there nothing else I can do? Did anyone else run into issues with their doctor not filling out the EXACT form from JET? I just feel devasted. I can't go to other doctors because I'm in CA and only Kaiser locations take Kaiser patients and in other places, Kaiser is out of network. Is this just shit luck?
