I am practicing my reading skill with Aozora Bunko and some stories use a very archaic and flowery type of Japanese that I struggle with a lot. Does anyone have any sites that go through some archaic grammar and terms so I can more easily read through the stories on that site? Most sources focus on modern Japanese, obviously but there are times I want to read older works.

Here is probably everything you would need to know about this: [https://imabi.org/intro-to-classical/](https://imabi.org/intro-to-classical/)
Make sure to use the audiobooks also! There’s plenty of works on YouTube or aozora roudoku (website). Have an online dictionary ready to go (I use Yomichan) and you’ll be fine!
You can skim through sites like https://kotenbunpou.com and use sites like https://www.hello-school.net/haroajapa000top.htm as reference.
Aozora doesn’t get that archaic anyway
I recommend Oda Masaru’s book 古代日本語文法 as it is the most informational I have found. It has a longer version (古典文法総覧) but it seems to be out of print now.
