We're currentky visiting Kyoto and really wanted to find the elderly gentleman in the bamboo grove at Arashiyama that makes the balancing dragonflies to take home as gifts.
We've visited twice now (weekdays) and he hasn't been there – is he only there on weekends?
Is there anywhere else in Kyoto (souvenir shops etc) that has something similar?
Unfortunately we leave for Tōhoku tomorrow morning.
