Do you think Zack’s current run was intended for Ospreay?

First of all, I totally happy to see Zack as the top champion. I think he is the best wrestler currently in New Japan and totally deserves this spot.

But since severals weeks/months, I was asking myself what if this booking of G1 Climax Winner into IWGP World HW Champion was originally intended to Will Ospreay, and because his leaving Zack swap in to has this run?

I think Shota being announced as challenger at Power Struggle would be way better received if it's was Ospreay instead of Zack because of the insanely good match they had last year (which was at the exact same arena). Plus Ospreay vs Ricochet would be a more attractive match at Wrestle Dynasty because of their infamous BOSJ bout that has broke internet.
