Hi everyone. I am 24 year old male moving to Japan from Australia next April for 1 year on a Student Visa to a Japanese language school in Tokyo. I have worked hard and saved enough in my real estate job that I could save enough to stay there for a year without having to work, but on a strict budget. But I want to gain more experience with the culture and improve my language skills. I am brand new to the language.
But my question is what jobs can a foreigner do for a job in Tokyo, everything I hear is English teaching/ engineering but I don’t have a degree. Is there anything people could recommend. If all turns well I would like to eventually move to Japan permanently if I can find a career, but that’s something later on I will worry about.
Sorry for the long rant. I just want to hear other peoples experiences on what to do and give as much context on my thoughts and situation. Thank you everyone 🙂
