I am a civil engineer in my country and I am planning to work in Japan, as many of my family members live there. However, I only have an N5 level in Japanese, which makes it difficult to find a job as an engineer in Japan. My sister knows some civil engineers there, but they only have working visas. If I go to Japan, there’s a chance I would end up working for my sister’s company, which is not related to my field.
I’m willing to work in any position, but my sister suggested that I should find a job related to my career. If I apply for a civil engineering position with a working visa, my question is: will it be difficult to transition from a working visa to a Nikkei visa?
