My wife and I are starting to make plans to move to Japan with our 14 year old son. Our plan is to open up a business there getting a business managers visa. We have owned and operated several businesses together in the states and have the resources to pull it off. We strongly prefer to go to language school first as we’re both at n5 level. Our concern is that with a language school student visa we can’t bring in our son as a dependent. Is there any way we can get him a student visa since he’s under 18? We are planning on enrolling him at an international high school. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
