I need some help deciding which Japanese language school to apply to for an intensive program starting in January 2025. I’ve been offered a trainee opportunity in Japan, but I need to improve my Japanese skills to be ready for the interview.
I plan to go to Japan late December and stay until the end of March. My goal is to find a school that allows flexibility to progress through different levels while providing a very intensive learning experience.
I already know hiragana, katakana, and some kanji, and I’ve picked up a bit of Japanese from listening, but I don’t have a solid grasp of grammar yet. So far, I’ve researched Kudan, ALA, and Akamonkai, but most reviews I found about them are quite outdated.
If anyone has recent experiences or recommendations for schools that fit my needs, I’d be incredibly grateful for your insights! Thank you in advance. 😊

UPDATE: I’ve been accepted into two schools, even after the deadline. (Schools are still a business—vacancies mean lost money.) By Kudan and Akamonkai. Always check!
