I know this is a bit of a weird question, but basically I’m an ex-software engineer wanting to get back into things and I’m kind of lost for ideas I can implement to learn how to program again.
I’m pretty satisfied with my life in the sense that I don’t feel like an app or website would it improve it much (I’ve even been really happy with my Japanese learning system) so I’m curious to hear ideas from the community to see how I can help contribute to it.

Im developing Japanese learning website that is making life harder for users.
If you don’t have a clear idea yourself, don’t make one. The market for language learning apps is already oversaturated with frankly dogshit apps which makes it harder to find the decent ones
I think something fun would be some kind of app similar to [kotu.io](http://kotu.io) that compared similar kanji & their readings rather than pitch accent. you could take kanji compounds that looked similar like 黒緑 and 黒縁, put it into a sentence, and have people select the correct reading.
