Hi, I am a programmer, and I have received a job offer to move to Japan next year. The position would be based in Tokyo (Futako Tamagawa, Crimson Tower).
They are offering me a salary of 500,000 yen per month, which amounts to 6 million yen annually (this is before tax and insurance deductions).
I am unsure whether this salary is sufficient for a comfortable life in Tokyo, as well as for travel. Should I consider negotiating for a higher salary?
