So the WTL lineup this year has been released. And one thing i noticed with this tag league vs super jr tag league. Looking at the line up with the teams in tag league there's a lot more mix teams than actual teams that have teamed for a long period of time as a 2 person team
Bishamon, Kidd/Sanada , Zayne/X, Umino/Honma , ZSJ/Oiwa , Takagi/Tsuji , Kenta/Owens, Cobb/Newman
Naito/Hiromu ,TMDK , Yano/Oleg ,Tanahashi/Jado ,Okhan/Henare, Evil/Narita, Taichi/Taka, Natural Classics
Out these 16 teams the only legit teams are Bishamon,the current strong champs(TMDK), Natural Classics,Kenta/Owens. The rest are teams are realistically not going to win since most of them already have plans for the dome. And that leaves us with only a few real options.
Unlike the Jr tag division with the super jr tag league. There was only 3 makeshift teams. But a lot of strong tag teams that showed more chemistry as time went on during the tournament. I can definitely say on paper this line up for WTL is definitely weaker than last years. But will it will have more impact in terms of the importance for WK with a lot of progression for certain feuds.
