Looking for a hike that takes you to a spot where you can see sunrise.
Hike under an hour, open 24/7, accessible by public transport from around Namba and maybe about 40 min.
Googled several places up but they’re either 2 hours away or the hike is 2 hours or the places opens at 9.

This fits your description. I used to go up there all the time when I lived in Osaka City (I moved to the suburbs now). It’s only a 20 min hike up the hill from Hiraoka station, and you can get there directly from Osaka-Namba Station. The view of the city (and the sunrise) never gets old. Great to take a book up there and a few snacks cause there’s plenty of benches.
