Hello everyone. Just saw a similar post in this subreddit and decided to create my own as I am also travelling to Japan (Tokyo) and can't decide on the show to attend. For context, it's my first time in Japan, I watch WWE and haven't been to any wrestling show in my life. I don't know much about Japanese wrestling and promotions, so I am looking mostly for a good show and perhaps a venue with a good atmosphere. Here are the shows I managed to find which happen during my time in Tokyo:
- NOAH – Monday Magic – Nov 17 – Shinjuku FACE
- NJPW – World Tag League – Nov 21 – Funabashi Arena, Chiba
- DDT – TJPW LIVE TOUR – Nov 22 – Shinjuku FACE
- Dradition – Dragon Expo 1978 – Nov 22 – Korakuen Hall
I know that this subreddit is about NJPW, but I hope it's still fine to include other promotions. I did my research and got some context about each show, but still can't really decide. Currently, I am leaning towards Dragon Expo as, from my understanding, there will be a legendary 70-old wrestler and the event takes place in a historic venue, but the promotion is a smaller one, not sure how big of a deal it is though.
I'd really appreciate an insightful suggestion!
