Okay, I messed up. I am from the United States and didn't get my IDP before coming to Okinawa. A tour person basically told me I'm stuck using public transportation for the duration of my trip. Can someone confirm this? I am here for a total of 2 weeks and I would really like to get a rental but I'm unsure of where/how to get the international drivers license.
