Hi there
Sorry for TMI
My husband suspects he has a UTI, hopefully nothing more serious. I think he might be getting a fever so he probably needs antibiotics. Can anyone suggest anywhere that can see foreigners? He has a long flight in a few days…
Thanks

Do you live here, have insurance etc?
Thank you!
You should try to see a doctor, get a professional diagnosis and get professional treatment.
It’s doubtful that you’ll be able to get all of that done tonight.
However, Many of the drug stores in Japan ( the ones that sell shampoo, make-up, toothpaste etc. ) sell some medicine to treat UTIs. You don’t need a prescription for this type of medicine.
Just walk into a drug store and use Google translate to communicate with the staff at the store. Or just show them this.

You might want to get a thermometer and some antipyretics whilst your there.
If you’re lucky, you might be able to find an English version of the product information sheet for the medicine that you buy on the manufacturer’s website. It will probably be in PDF format and will have a file name of what seems like a random set of numbers and letters.
Baptist Hospital on the east side of town is open tomorrow 8:30 a.m. and has English consultation forms, or at least they used to.
