All right art enthusiasts and newbies, you have until January 5th to see this exhibition from Worcester Museum. European art is not something easily accessible here and this one is a great collection of impressionist artworks that’s worth seeing.
Monet, Corot, Pissarro, Childe Hassam, Joseph H. Greenwood, Renoir and other artists, including American and Japanese.
The frames are really impressive too. Also displaying interesting letters and cable messages (cablegrams) between the museum and the seller.
Place: Abeno Harukas, the tallest building in Japan, so you get to see the artworks and the view. If you pay extra, you can also see The 60th Floor View.
Bike parking nearby (one hour free).
There are 5 paintings that are allowed to be photographed, and 2 photo spots (one before and one after the exhibition hall) where you can take a photo of yourself.
There’s a free locker to leave your belongings before you enter.
Souvenir shop with replica paintings and cute little things if you like that kind of stuff or need to restock your “in case I forgot about some important date or need a thank you gift” drawer.
Enjoy!
