Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a great New Year's Eve. I received my student visa a month ago, and I’m supposed to go to Japan on January 6th as my school starts then. However, due to some unforeseen circumstances, I probably won’t be able to go. I am planning to reapply to the school this summer and enroll for the next semester, but I’m worried that not using my current visa might cause issues with my future applications.
Long story short, do you think immigration might have second thoughts about issuing my Certificate of Eligibility and student visa in the future because I received a visa before but never used it? Thank you.
