Hello 🙂
I was wondering if getting a job in tech is still a way to move to Japan.
I am 24 yo, it's my last year of uni (CS with speciality in Cybersecurity, SOC Analyst to be speciffic), so i decided to look for a job around the world. I'm studying during weekends and i'm working as a linux sysadmin in a goverment facility and have my own one person company (netwrok technician – mostly cabels and rack assembling, labeling and documenting + basic windows server or linux network configuration. I also have AZ-900 cert, welding machine and certificate in optical fiber welding). In total i have 2 years of expirience but i'm still looking for a job here in Poland to gain some skills and confidence. Is it even worth it to try looking for a job in Japan ? Is tech still open for foreigners ? My field in IT is system administration, cloud computing and cybersecurity.
I did some research and found a few offers, but i'm wondering how does a market look like from a perspective of people living in JP.
Thanks in advance for response.
