Personally while I have theories and predictions, I can’t say I’m confident on the shape of Wrestle Kingdom 19 and Wrestle Dynasty: Wrestle Kingdom 19 Goes International. I suspect we’ll have a much stronger image after tonight’s show. So what do you call for Wrestle Kingdom, Dynasty and the way there?
Personally I think Shingo drops to Oiwa but challenges before the Dome. Probably Power Struggle. I don’t see ZSJ/Shingo Takagi as a Wrestle Kingdom main event. Dunno why. So who is it?
Well, as the last Shota Umino stan standing… him. Shota Umino. The man who beat ZSJ, Shingo and even the Incredible Amazing Spectacular Uncanny Immortal Astonishing Great O’Khan. I think he beats EVIL at PS or XOver, and gets catapulted all the way to the top by beating ZSJ at the Dome, giving him a chance to be ran with. Admittedly this theory also involved him beating Moxley at Wrestle Dynasty, which now looks… unlikely. My condolences to the Danielson family in this dark hour. But I dunno, maybe he beats Okada or something. It’s not Uminover is my point.
I also think Mistico takes the belt off Douki for a big Hiromu/Mistico match at Wrestle Dynasty, which won’t be a wager match if Hiromu is winning and will be if he loses.
Narita vs Shibata is also an early WD bet, for the New Japan World TV Championship. I’m thinking they go to a 15 minute tie followed by HOT getting whooped by the faces.
Finley vs Tsuji is a wild card, in I think it happens but I don’t know WHERE or WHEN or WHO WINS. Power Struggle is entirely possible as is WK. If it’s at the Dome, Tsuji wins. If it’s not… no idea. Tsuji working Drilla at Royal Quest makes me think he’s challenging though.
Think neither tag belts will change hands, but if fun to head you asked me who was more likely to drop… TMDK. But neither are losing in 12 hours, I feel.
I dunno who’ll win the tag leagues either but I’m leaning Bishamon. Four in a row would be really funny.
O’Khan is 2024 King of Pro Wrestling.
Probably see something like I dunno Tanahashi, Kenny and Ibushi vs HOT or something at Dynasty, maybe Okada teams with HOT.
Strong Style Evolved in December will only have champions that are STRONG belt or have WD defences to build defended, so in this theory the Jr and TV belts, maybe the NEVER might be an exception I have no idea WHERE that goes.
So that’s my predictions. But the title asks for your’s. So volunteer them in the comments! Or commentary on why mine are bad and Shota Umino is the worst wrestler since Great Antonio. Either or, really.
