ECC CRD Relevance to University Lecturer Roles

I'm returning to Japan after quite a few years overseas, working in a different industry. I'm heading back to Japan and career-transitioning (back) into teaching, specifically (this time) at universities – I have the basic qualifications to get started and am continuing to build my CV with publications, etc. I'm aware of the major channels for finding openings (EDIT: JRECIN, JALT, JACET, to a lesser extent GaijinPot) and have been active, but it's not looking great for me in terms of opportunities for the 2025 academic year (I'll be based in Kansai, by the way).

I noticed that ECC has a Corporate Relations Division (CRD) which includes work at universities. I was hoping to get some input from people who've done it or are familiar with it. Is this a good way to get some part-time university experience under your belt that university recruiters might respect? Or will they view it similarly to how they would any other eikawa experience (which I imagine is not particularly favourably)?
