I need help figuring out what this dish is and how to make it!

Im part Japanese and my family who im no longer in contact with would make this every year for new years. It was my absolute favorite and only two people knew how to make it

It had
Fish cakes
Roots
Cabbage like vegetable
Meat
Sprouts
They added sugar in the broth as it cooked
Clear/ white noodles
And fried tofu
And shiitake mushrooms

As it was cooking we would eat soba noodles with this delicious cold broth
Please help me!
