So, for context, I'm trying to add some kanji to a spreadsheet I'm working on to keep track of things I've learned. (Google Chrome on Windows 10)
I just learned the verb 塞ぐ on Duolingo, but while trying to add different verb conjugations, half of the time, the kanji 塞 won't show up if I input ふさ – it either shows a bunch of unrelated Kanji, Hiragana, or Romaji.
So for example, I was only able to input 塞がない and 塞ぐ/塞ぎ. For other conjugations such as ふさげる, ふさげない, etc the IME input only shows Hiragana. So my only option to get the 塞 Kanji to show up is to type 塞がない, delete the extra Hiragana, then correct the ending of the conjugation I want.
Is there any way for me to just add the 塞 kanji to the IME dictionary/library so it actually recognises it when I type it in? Screenshots added for reference.
Thanks in advance.
