Hello, everyone. I am a new American JET who started this July. I really want to spend my time wisely while I am on JET, build my skills, and get into a graduate program online while teaching. I was a Japanese language and culture major who graduated in 2024. I am worried about AI's current state and how none of my friends in Japan can get jobs. I would prefer a boring office job that pays decent. I just do not want to end up working minimum-wage jobs in America again for my sanity.
I don't care about staying in Japan, but I am ok with working abroad, considering the recent U.S. election results. I have been researching what master's program that would be beneficial for me with a degree in Japanese. I am seeing an MBA or an international relations master's program would also be good. I am no good at math or anything computer-related. If anyone has any advice let me know!
